I'm Uruguayan, and most of that is said on this article is a lie, the children day in Uruguay is on august (august 21 on 2016), January 6 is Three Kings’ Day in Uruguay as is in most Latin America countries, and dicember 25 is Chrisma's day not Family Day, and easter week is call easter week or Tourism Week, is true that the Catholic community in Uruguay is small and have less power than other contries of Latin America.-
